CHRISTMAS GHOST STORIES

Award-winning storyteller Dr Nicolas Grimoire delivers a veritable feast of festive frighteners, carefully selected to thrill and enthral.

Creepy castles, mournful mansions, snowbound landscapes and ghastly ghouls abound in an evening of yuletide yarns.

The doctor is a firm fan of the classic Victorian ghost story and presents two of the best ever written alongside shorter but equally scary stories from the 20th century.

We meet a modern day ghost of a Christmas past and enjoy the wonderful Gothic tale of the Mistletoe Bride that was a huge hit in the days of the 19th century music hall when the words were set to music.  There's also a traditional tale that begins with a winter journey and ends with a phantom to literally chill the blood.
